This is one of the biggest mysteries of all. What is light? No one knows for sure. Some scientists say it’s waves, some others say it’s particles and some even say it’s both sometimes acting as waves and other times acting as waves. The truth is no one knows very well what light really is, what is does and why it was created, all they know is that it exists.

You can only see objects that send or reflect light, you cannot see something that does not reflect any light. The screen you are seeing right now produces light and the keyboard you are looking at right now is reflecting some of it’s light too and this is why you can see it.

Now one of the great mysteries is about objects that do not reflect light. You cannot see them. If you ever landed on a planet that did not reflect enough light for you to see it, you would feel you were on the middle of nowhere, on the middle of the dark or something like that. This is how it works. If you dropped an item there, you would see it like if it was floating around.

Light from stars is even more interesting. For example, you cannot see the sky like it really is, if there is something like reality or really, all you can see is the light that left those stars millions of years ago. Scientists say we should see billions of stars in our sky, but the truth is we see only some of them. What happened to the light of all other stars? No one knows.

The way a planet starts is another great mystery. For example, you cannot know for sure how Earth or Moon started billions of years ago. Some people say it was a meteor that crashed with Earth and made the Moon, some other people say it was a satellite without enough power to stay away from it’s gravity. No one knows for sure. The truth is we have the biggest satellite compared to it’s host planet.

Finally one thing that no one understands is what galaxies have in the center of them. Some people say it’s a super massive black hole and some other people say it’s stars, a very dense cloud of stars and some other people say it’s nothing.

I believe those mysteries will never be solved because of the speed of light…
