The first thing to do is heat up the red planet to be warm enough for living things. How to heat up a large planet? We can use the heat from the sun, but because distance of the planet is a little farther than the distance of Earth to the sun, we need tools that can focus the sun’s heat to Mars so that the total heat accepted this planet is larger than normal heat it receives now.For this we can utilize the technology currently being developed NASA, the solar sail. Solar sail is a giant mirror floating in space. This mirror can reflect sunlight so that the Mars able to get the extra heat that melts the ice at the poles.After the ice melts, the water began to flow in this dry planet thus forming lakes. The content of carbon dioxide trapped in ice can be released into the atmosphere. Temperature rise in the planet .This will help the escape of gas CFC (Chlorofluorocarbons) which will be used to create the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect a problem in our world would be utilized in the process of warming Mars. The greenhouse effect serves as a trap solar radiation so that could continue to warm the planet and keep the water to remain in the liquid phase.Abundant carbon dioxide in the atmosphere also helps this process.Then, to further improve the greenhouse effect, we force some milling asteroids between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter (known as Asteroid Belt) to deviate from the track so he could hit Mars.We could use a nuclear plant in the asteroid (you know, similar to theArmageddon movie) to make it move from its trajectory. Why?accidentally hit by a asteroid? For what? All that we fear in Earth would be done on Mars?
Asteroid to be flown to Mars is not just any asteroids. We must choose from the many asteroids in the asteroid belt based. Which should we choose is the asteroid that size is enough to hit Mars,but not destroy it, and that contain ammonia high. The purpose of asteroid into the future of our homes is to ammonia was released into the atmosphere of the planet. The release of ammonia can be help to enhance the greenhouse effect that is intended to warms the planet. The release of these gases can also help to thicken layer is very thin Martian atmosphere.
The greenhouse effect can help the natural process of photosynthesis by plants. As we know, photosynthesis always suck up carbon dioxide, and releasing oxygen gas which is required by the people.Of course the whole process takes thousands of years, but with existing technology and that will be developed with nanotechnology, the transformation of Mars into a new place to next destination for human being it is not impossible.
