Mannerisms of a Liar

Tell-tale signs someone is lying.

A liar’s eyes.  Most liars can’t look you in the eyes, their eyes are always roving.  However, some are so good, they can look you in the eyes, smile, and lie straight to your face.  Yet, no matter how good you are at lying, there is one thing they can’t prevent, the pupils dilate.  It’s like a computer getting orders that violate or contradict the original programming.  The impulses are instantaneous because your brain knows the truth, but has to remember the lie because it’s different from the truth.

The body.  Some people twitch, some have involuntary ticks and spasms, and some are just uncomfortable.  No matter how good they are, there is always a sign, no matter how subtle.

The brain.  Remember, liars have to remember the lies, so wait an extended period of time, then try again.  It’s hard to remember a lie told a month ago.  Now some do remember, so they’re more difficult to catch, but remember, liars always mess up sooner or later.
