Make a Wish!

Meteor showers, time to wish.

Meteors are strange objects and wishing upon them makes them even more strange.

Where does a meteor shower usually come from?

Meteor showers usually occur when the Earth passes through residue of Halley’s Comet.

Does wishing upon a star really work?

Well, if Pinocchio can really talk then sure. In reality though, humans have been believed to wish upon stars even as far back as our ancestors were alive. The Bible refers to Jesus Christ as a star and shooting stars/comets have often been associated with mystical powers.

According to Dr. Raj Baldev, “All planets in the Solar System, 30 nearby stars (within 40 parsecs), constellations and comets including our Earth do affect the human luck. Man’s luck is locked within the influence of stars. (Parsec is a distance of measurement – 3.3 light years, or 19.8 trillion miles or 33 trillion kilometers).” If what you wish for is within your ability then you can definately achieve whatever you want, but it also depends on your luck that you make such an observation exactly as a comet passes through your eyes.

Meteor showers and comets alone are a spectacular sight to behold, why not make a wish? The song from Pinocchio says “when you wish upon a star…anything your heart desires will come to you”, so I’m assuming that wishing upon a shooting star it’s even more effective.
