Astronomers Have Discovered 19 Asteroids, Potentially Dangerous for The Earth

As the press service of the Institute of Astronomy, University of Hawaii, astronomers have conducted their observations with the telescope PS1, located on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

Officer Larry Denno Observatory on the night of Saturday, January 29 spent for processing data from the telescope, PS1, which he received over the Internet. During the night and morning of Day and his colleagues obtained data on 30 asteroids near Earth. This information has been forwarded to the Minor Planet Center of the International Astronomical Union, so that other astronomers could confirm or deny this information.

Because of heavy snow storms in the North American continent are having problems with the observations. However the total number of confirmed asteroid to 19.

“Two of these asteroids have been found to have orbits very close to Earth. Although they do not pose an immediate threat, but their collision with the Earth in the next century can not be excluded,” – said in a statement.

Earlier, astronomers have discovered in the Universe 18 potentially dangerous solar system stars.

    Anyone else see the horrific grammatical errors in this poorly-written piece? Listen “Scienceray”, I get this is a science blog, and not a literary-type thing, but the trash writing found here only distracts from the seriousness of the content. Clean it up!
