The world of architecture offers us with amazing, unusual, cool and fascinating houses. Some are old, some are ultra modern — some may call them art buildings or even dream houses. Architecture, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. No matter how it looks like, these houses deserve a second look to see its real beauties.
Beer Can House (Houston, Texas, USA)

Man-made house made of empty beer cans! John Milkovisch started his mammoth project in 1968. He started redecorating his yard by putting down huge numbers of marbles, stones, and pieces of metal into an artistic landscaping features. When the yard was fully done, he moved on to the house. Over the next 18 years, the house was covered and adorned by over 50,000 beer cans! The house is now under the ownership of the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art.
Cob House (Vancouver, Canada)

This Cob House from Vancouver, Canada was built using clay, sand, straw and water. Though it uses a very simple and contemporary building technique; this amazing cob house has all the facilities modern houses have.
Dome House (Florida, USA)

The Dome House in Flora, United States is a pleasant looking white house built as an experimental hurricane resistant home. A brilliant example of Monolithic Dome Structure — the house has three floors and includes 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, large balconies, an elevator and an in-ground pool! The owners, Valerie and Mark Sigler, stayed there during the 2004-2005 hurricane seasons. As of 2008, the property was up for sale for a cool $1.25M. You can also rent the place for $5600/week!
Mind House (Barcelona, Spain)

Mind House is a building located just a few steps from Gracia, on a hill in the suburb of Vallcarca. In 1900, the famous architect Gaudi originally designed it as a garden city, but is now a public park. True to his style, Gaudi created a very imaginative work that centered primarily on nature’s beauty. Here one can marvel at the magnificent covered walkway with columns that have the shapes of fantastic animals, or trunks of trees. Also, there are colorful pottery and pieces of glass used as pieces of colored mosaics.

So many interesting houses. I find Cob House (Vancouver, Canada) most appealing. It looks simple and has a feel of tranquility.
